The double turbine endless pool is helpful for endless repetition and refinement of strokes while our below water mirrors allow students to view themselves in real time. Two swimmers can swim side by side in a lesson and improve independently of one another and their respective pace. Thistledown’s video recording options allow students to see themselves and their subsequent corrections.
For swimmers wishing to improve upon stroke technique or pace, the endless pool is like a swim lab where your attention can be keenly focused on how changes in your technique affect your pace. Improving your stroke technique while swimming in the turbine generated current offers immediate feedback. When you improve, the speed of the current will need to be increased to contain your new pace.
We are dedicated to teaching students how to survive in the water and to helping students reach their highest potential.
